I don’t want to sully this with excess commentary*. Sufficed to say when I showed it to Luke, he almost peed himself. Seriously, I’ve never seen him that overstimulated. Not even when I had that car battery hooked up to his nuts.

…What? It was a slow Friday night.

Here’s where shit gets awesome, though. The clip is from the film Dogway Melody, which also contains (I shit you not) a version of Al Jolson’s performance of “Mammy” in The Jazz Singer. Also, the finale is a chorus line of dogs performing “Singing in the Rain”. I think my brain just got an erection. If you do intend to spend the whole night trawling the net for videos of this diabolically awesome film, send us what you uncover. Holy hell. I need a cold shower.

*I’m worried/excited about the possibility that this is a whole sub-genre of film. Can you imagine ninety minutes of that? I’m pretty sure my immune system would shut down out of sheer fright.

UPDATE: Here is a video of a dog milking a goat. A dog. Milking A GOAT.

According to my 1998 Guinness book of records the smallest movie set was from a 1947 movie starring two Lovebirds called Bill and Coo. I would love to see that movie

[...] I tried to convey the pure unadulterated terror induced from watching Queenie in Trouble, from Dogway Melody. You’ll just have to experience it for yourself, [...]
