Total coronary failure. This is the new trailer for Sherlock Holmes, which is directed by Guy Ritchie (con) and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes (huge pro) and Jude Law as Watson (another huge pro). Having read every short story and novel I’m somewhat excited.

Paul Verhoeven (right) is on Triple J, as host of the Weekend Breakfast Show. He is a writer and film critic for Yen Magazine, and insists he is a regular columnist for Horse and Hound magazine (unverified). He recently finished a weekly series for The Vine called Curiageous where he answered people's burning questions and drank his own urine. He enjoys ducks.
Luke Ryan (left) is a stand-up comic, writer, and general man-about-town. He is a news blogger and feature writer for The Vine and also writes for the music blog Electrorash and the street mag ThreeThousand. In 2009 he performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in his oh so descriptively titled show 'Luke's Got Cancer'. It was funnier than it sounds.
Both of them spend more of their time then they should perusing the Internet and gaming. The Somewhat Ambitious is essentially the product of this excess.

@Aqualec – we’re both a bit of both. To be fair, I’m more the Watson, mainly because if one of us were to kick a door down, it’d be me. Luke’s more esoteric, and to be honest, smarter than I am. But I’m shaggier. So… I’m confused now. If that answered your question at all, you’re a better man than I.

Finally, a film that I can actually get excited about! (Even if it does look as though everybody involved in the making of it has never even read the Canon stories-they seem to have just skipped through the actual character descriptions, and gone straight to the action.)
And can I just say that this blog is frickin’ awesome? I’m a big Nerds of a Feather fan, and stumbling across this blog has been the best thing that’s happened to me all week!
