Nerds of Feather Wrap-up, for Febuary 10th!

February 11th, 2009 · 4 Comments

After a night of cobbling together what may or may not have been the most batshit random radio Luke and I have ever committed to air (and which will probably never grace your ears due to incoherency), I feel it’s time to get back to work. And by that, I mean a wrap-up of Yesterdays show. Yesterday on Nerds of a Feather on the Triple J Breakfast Show, I discussed:

- Twitter stalking, and my hopeful sexy coffee break with Levar Burton (LaForge from TNG, as if you didn’t know)!

- The possible advent of teleportation technology, courtesy of the Joint Quantum Institute in Maryland. Note: it doesn’t work very well.

- A breakout of crimes committed by a Klingon (apparently) in Colorado. The Klingon is, to the best of my knowledge, trying to find his crashed Warbird and needs twinkies for sustenance.

- The discovery of a giant snake! Marieke endeavoured to avoid dick jokes. Lindsay, Robbie and myself did not make this easy for her. As a result, the snake was scarcely discussed.

- The future of warfare: ROBOTS!

- I discussed something Luke has been advocating for weeks now: Write or Die, a nightmarish cure for writers block!

Stay tuned this week for all manner of idiocy, including more info on Luke’s upcoming Melbourne International Comedy Festival show, and my upcoming interview with Peter Davidson (the fifth Doctor)!

/Paul

Ooooh, I am so glad I can download NoaF…I wind up missing it more than I care to.

And isn’t it Davison? Or have I been spelling it wrong all this time?

dear paul verhoeven, you aren’t the same paul verhoeven as the one whose name is attached to robocop in a “robocop: a film by paul verhoeven” kind of way, are you?

i typed your name so many times then that by the end it was coming out as “pul hervoeven”. how embarrassing to be me.
