The Somewhat Ambitious

You know when you’re talking to someone and all of a sudden they’ll drop a comment about LOLcats and how funny they are and how they just got sent a LOLcat by the clown of the office, Justin, and now they’ve printed it out and put it on the wall of their cubicle and they look at it all the time and smile because it makes it seem like the cat is a retarded 5 year old with vocal cords and that’s unbelievably hilarious and it makes their days go faster and you’re all like shit man, you’ve just found out about LOLcats, I’ve been to LOL places you couldn’t even dream of, I’ve read the LOLBible, I’ve perused LOLtapirs, I’ve rocked out to LOLmetal. Indeed, I have, on occasion, LOLed. Yeah, you know that feeling? That feeling makes you think that maybe the world has had enough LOL. Maybe there are certain crevices of human and animal endeavour that don’t need LOLage. I mean, Jesus, I just discovered LOLnuns. But then you get sent something like LOLwiggers and you realise that no, this is how the world should be. The world should be LOL.

LOL.

Although, while we’re on the topic of wiggers, it just reminds me of this wonderful scene from the abysmal 1989 film ‘Teen Witch’, which some better blogger than I described as perhaps ‘the exact moment at which hip hop died’. It’s something to do with the pink hat. The phrase ‘look how funky he is’ doesn’t help either.
