Iceblocks.

Thinkgeek (a website I’m fast becoming Winehouse-grade addicted to) has released a brilliant gadget for the summer nerd: the Tetris icecube tray! Tired of trying to play tetris with regular icecubes? Yeah, me too (And if you’re trying to burst into inappropriate venues reenacting the apex of gaming that is a four-row tetris moment, using regular slippery blocks of ice is just weird. Also, for the record, running into the middle of a baptism clutching icecubes and yelling “TETRIS!” will get you nowhere with the ladies).

The blue molded rubber tray Thinkgeek have released features twelve distinct blocks, which actually lock together and will eventually melt away, giving the same muffled sense of baffling accomplishment the actual game gives you. With summer in swing, expect several more gaming-related gadgets of this ilk to pop up. So if you’re an indie nerd who enjoys geometry and drinking in the sun, you’re in luck. You’re also a lot like myself. Let’s grab lunch!

I drool over thinkgeek for hours also.

If only i didn’t have a fixed glass shower screen I could shower behind a periodic table shower curtain. Glee!

I’ll have to settle on the periodic table fridge magnets.

    Flourine, Uranium, Potassium!
