The Somewhat Ambitious

Given the post-Obama rush we’re all being swished around in, it might be a little hard to quantify exactly why we love him oh so much. The UK Telegraph has compiled an amazing list of things you might’nt be aware of about Zeus. Yes, I called him Zeus. Let’s not fuck around with aliases anymore. Here are a few of my favourite items:

• He collects Spider-Man and Conan the Barbarian comics

• He won a Grammy in 2006 for the audio version of his memoir, Dreams From My Father

• He has read every Harry Potter book

• He promised Michelle he would quit smoking before running for president – he didn’t (I like this one because my girlfriend did the same thing, and somehow it adds to her appeal)
• He kept a pet ape called Tata while in Indonesia

• He uses an Apple Mac laptop (great minds, bitches!)

• His favourite music includes Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Bach and The Fugees

• He plans to install a basketball court in the White House grounds

Can you imagine Miles playing in the background as Obama blocks a three-pointer by Putin? Christ. The only way he could be any more awesome is if he arrived at UN meetings via jetpack, which I wouldn’t rule out.
