Vice President Dick Cheney left a Washington hospital this afternoon after being treated for an abnormal heart rhythm that was discovered by his doctors earlier in the day, his office announced.
Cheney, 67, was released from George Washington University Hospital and headed to the vice president’s residence, press secretary Megan Mitchell said. It was the second time in less than a year that Cheney has been treated for the condition.
