Armageddon Expo is on this weekend in Melbourne! Apart from the regular array of convention goodies, there’ll be celebrities, anime screenings, and… you know what? It’s early. Here’s the list of highlights from the website:

• Meet the local Star Wars guests as well as the 501st legion cantina
• Animation voice actors signing free from such shows as Naruto, Avatar, Xaolin showdown, Bleach, Hellsing, Trigun and more!
• Animation events including Cosplay, Animation Music Video, animation panels from Crispin freeman, animation screenings, special stores and more!
• Huge Pillow flight on the wrestling ring at 5pm Sunday

I’ll be there on Saturday, provided John Candy’s birthday tonight doesn’t destroy me. I’ll also be asking Ernie Hudson, from Ghostbusters, a couple of questions. Does he support Obama? I’ll ask him, Luke, get off my back.
