With this ring, I thee encode

Ever wanted to have a secret message wrapped around your finger, like some sort of weird bipedal carrier pigeon?* Good luck picking up women, stupid, you’re swimming with disease! But for those of us who aren’t cooing and crapping on statues, Jonathon Ben-Tovim has designed a series of encoder rings which can be peppered with a message in binary, up to 64 characters long. They not only look spiffy, but can be used to smuggle state secrets (said secrets could probably be translated by about sixteen of my friends, who could then blackmail their way out of their parents basements and into Barbados).

*Yes, I realise Pigeons are technically bipedal. Shut up.

lol, I know a couple that would love to get some of those as wedding bands just for the geek factor.

Exactly what i was going to say, Pete. Wedding bands for nerds.

let me define the last two statements, wedding bands for A nerd (singular) and computer. I’m not simply dipping in to the great pool of stereotype here, but you really should not underestimate the relationship of a nerd and their computer.

I wonder if my husband will agree to swap these for our wedding rings…

If he agreed to play the Star Wars theme tune during the ceremony I’m pretty sure this will be a go-er. Darn! Not purchasable yet! I totally had my WOW credit card out and everything!

    … Our progeny is screwed.
