The Somewhat Ambitious

After all the fun and excitement that was 4chan’s hacking of Soulja Boy’s Myspace, you’d think we may have been done with the vile beast for a while. But no, it seems as if the 18-year old boyfriend of Bristol Palin (i.e. Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s daughter), one Levi Johnston also had a Myspace page, and boy does it make for interesting reading. I say ‘had’ because the profile was made private a few hours after the announcement of Bristol’s pregnancy (who, may I just reiterate is SEVENTEEN), but not before a squadron of journalists managed to hoover up every last, tasty tidbit. An excerpt:

‘I’m a f–kin’ redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes. But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s–t and just f–kin’ chillin’ I guess. Ya f–k with me I’ll kick your ass.’

You hear that Obama? you don’t go fuckin’ with Levi Johnston now. He’ll lay down some serious shit on your ass. Apparently McCain maintains that Palin was subjected to the same rigorous scrutiny as all the other potential candidates, but it just seems hard for me to imagine that a severely inexperienced female first-term governor who is currently under investigation by her own constituency for possible abuses of power, while also harbouring an unwed pregnant teenage daughter, was really considered prime electoral fodder by the Republican leadership. I’ve seen the West Wing. I know how these things work…
