Contrary to Homer’s (the Simpson, not the ancient Greek poet) suggestion that all movies are better if you speed them up, I’m starting to think that the key to comedic glory is locked in replaying things at half pace. In particular, if you replay footage involving Jeff Goldblum at half pace. Or, more specifically, if you replay late 90s Apple ads involving Jeff Goldblum at half pace… So, in conclusion, my initial claim was probably a little hyperbolic, but still, this shit is hilarious. Oh he’s so drunk. STOP DRINKING JEFF!
STOP PRESS! Not just restricted to Goldblum anymore. Antichrist extraordinaire Bill O’Reilly also sounds hilarious at half-pace, especially when he’s having a heated argument with former 90s talk show host Geraldo Rivera over the status of illegal immigrants with drink driving convictions in the US. Just wait until a minute in when the angry drunk man splatter starts to fly.
Or see the same thing at double speed to really appeal to the infant/Homer within.
Simple pleasures people. Simple pleasures.

Yeahhhhh, I fear this one’s a little lost on me. However, I think if you take the half speed video and set some really boring conversation to it…you may be onto something!

I fucking LOVE Goldblum. If this is some ham-fisted attempt to make him look bad, you’ll be spitting up teeth.

I agree with paul. Jeff Goldblum is one of the greatest men in the world. Actually he is the greatest man in the world. Did you know, for instance, that he is something of a piano virtuoso?
