DONALD LaFONTAINE, THE VOICE OF GOD.

Don LaFontaine, the husky-voiced guy who started trailers off with “in a land… before time” or “on the run… from himself”, has died of an undisclosed illness at the age of 68. He had recorded over 5000 film trailers, television commercials, network and video game ads, and I’m guessing he was a gun at prank calls. Apparently one of his nicknames was “the voice of God”, a voice I’m assuming the ladies loved. I like to think that he played the God card in bed on a regular basis, and that maybe he died because his wife proved he didn’t exist.
… You’ll have to forgive me, I get weird when I grieve.
