To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Childs Play (the Citizen Kane of shitty doll-related horror films), a bevy* of people dressed as the veritably Shakespearian antagonist wandered around times square for a promotional photoshoot/pranky funtime. My main issue with this is that if I got a bunch of friends to dress up as Orson Welles’ character from F is for Fake, you think people would enjoy it nearly as much? Or would they run away from the tubby bespectacled magicians floundering about, bumping into shit, mumbling lines from the Transformers movie?
…The only thing worse than a once great man in decline, is a whole bunch of people dressed as that man in decline banging into shit.
