The Star Trek universe is a tad large.

If there was ever an overwhelming commitment to a fictional universe, this is it. Star Trek by its very nature covers a lot of geographical ground, but a listener to Nerds of a Feather drew to my attention this map of the entire Star Trek galaxy. Holy shit. I’d peg this as excessive, but to be perfectly honest I’m too impressed. Clearly, acute autism is alive and well amongst the Trek fanbase, as well as the ability prepare in case said universe does in fact exist, and they need to be able to navigate through it.

Hey, it could happen.

…Shut up, it could!

Cool map. But a map of space is meaningless in 2 dimensions. So when u need a map of the Star Trek Universe (and you will one day need that map!), you may want to visit the astrometrics lab. Most federation starships have them nowadays.

Plus this appears to just be the relevant parts of the Alpha/Beta Quadrants, there’s no mention of Gamma or Delta. Plus where is Wolf 359?
