Water! Giver of life, dampener of… things. Not only has the Phoenix lander discovered water in a soil sample on Mars, but liquid has been found on Saturn’s moon, Titan. Both are huge finds, not only because they imply there may have been life on one or both planets, but that the mineral water market will soon have a new competitor. Given the choice, would you rather Evian? Or… SPACE WATER! STRAIGHT FROM THE INKY BLACK VOID OF ETERNITY TO YOUR MOUTH!*

*I would love to see John Hurt drink some of this stuff.

Life on Mars will probably only be genuinely exciting if you can demonstrate that it means an end to the oil crisis, the reversal of global warming and that Star Trek XI will not suck.
That said, if they do find Martian bacteria, they should definitely send Shatner to Mars to make out with it.

I was born in ‘82. Coincidence?
…Probably.
