In a surprising piece of news, scientists have used Google Earth satellite images to show that that herds of cattle tend to face in the north-south direction of Earth’s magnetic lines. Apparently the animals have a strange innate sense for direction, functioning almost as natural compasses. Everyone is acting surprised, but I can’t even count how many etchings I’ve seen of Magellan consulting what he dubbed his “direction cow”.
To be fair, it isn’t just cows. It’s also deer, who I’ve long suspected are fundamentally evil. Now not only do I feel vindicated, but the next time I eat one I can yell “if you had such an innate sense of direction, how come you got caught and eaten, bitch?”, and promptly be ejected from the restaurant.
In conclusion, science is awesome.

That’s very fucking cool.
“Do you have a compass?… Shit… If only we had a cow.”
