Fun Conclusion: You have a chance of nestling your (possibly) snug ass in the same Batmobile ass groove as Michael Keaton/Batman.

Fun note: The Ebay listing starts thusly ‘Na na na na na na na na na na BATMAN. That is what your neighbors will say when you pull into the driveway. How many people do you know that have a Ferrari, a Mercedes, a Lamborghini, or a Corvette? My guess would be there is at least one of these in your neighborhood. Now how many Batmobiles are in your neighborhood? None, because there were only a total of 5 of these cars made.’ Ooooooooh. Take THAT Ferrari. That’s almost worthy of a cheesy 60s Batman style ‘qunckkk!’

Less fun fact: The auction has already ended and topped out at $US110 000.

Possibly fun fact: That was lower than the reserve, so it might be re-listed… Keep your eyes peeled. That is, if you have the urge and the means to blow more than $US110 000 on what is essentially a glorified child’s toy.

Awesome fact: The 1989 Batmobile comes with a cassette player. That is so awesome. If I bought it I’d totally crack out all my Big Audio Dynamite double cassettes and drive around fighting crime while listening to ‘Rush’ on loop.
