The Somewhat Ambitious

This morning on the breakfast show I’m talking briefly with the guys and discussing what I though of The Dark Knight. As I’ll point out, it’s a magnificent film, but you really can’t capture the tragedy and pathos of a character like Batman without a derisive video (such as the one below) which undermines the scope and amount of work present in the film. And to that end…

(By the way, you don’t need to watch the whole thing to get the idea. It’s not like he suddenly stops towards the end and starts monologuing, ala The Killing Joke.)

That’s right, today is BATMAN DAY. Myself and Luke will be putting up new Batman themed content throughout the day, some idiotic, some not. I’m guessing at some point Luke will be ripping on Robin, so I’ll be preparing a gargantuan smackdown, as I’m sure the best he can come up with is nothing I can’t counter with THIS PICTURE.

FYI Luke, there are three Robins. Lumping them all together makes you look like a loser.

Now I await the inevitable barrage of punishment…
