The Somewhat Ambitious

I just introduced myself to Nichelle Nichols. And it wasn’t until several minutes later that I picked up on why she looked momentarily confused/embarrassed.

My fly was undone.

Uhura totally saw my Mr. Perfect briefs.

Incidentally, Jewel Staite (of Firefly fame) was neck-deep in Whedon fans (a group I respect but have never been able to mesh with), so I couldn’t get close enough for a talk, and I got very nervous when I saw Kandyse McClure (Dee from Galactica) looking remarkably friendly and amiable with fans, so I excused myself and ran off to see the cosplay. I can safely say I shall regret that decision for… several months at least. Note: Buying a Spiderman costume on Ebay without measurements almost certainly ensures severe testicle separation.

Ironically the only person I didn’t feel too nervous about talking too has a) kissed Shatner, and b) eyed my groin. I can safely say that Shatner and I are now linked in a way which I doubt even he could comprehend.
